About Rhonda


Rhonda has been a lifelong resident of McCormick, SC.   She joined her first band at age 13 singing and playing keyboards with local musicians in McCormick county. She joined the AMARILLA BAND out of Greenwood, SC in the mid 80's and soon after began touring over 20 states. Later she joined Brasstown Ball (BRASSTYME BAND) and also performed many shows with the Fabulous Expressions all out of Greenwood, SC. After a short break from the music, Rhonda was encouraged by local DJ PAT PATTERSON and Greenwood's very own HACK BARTLEY to record a song at KHP MUSIC with Keith Houston.  She is still recording there after 23 years! She has had numerous number one hits on many Beach Music charts and has been nominated for more than 50 Carolina Beach Music Awards through the years. Rhonda has been honored with the CBMA Female Vocalist Award Twelve times and has a total of 19 CBMA Awards! She is currently residing in North Myrtle Beach and performing with the Carolina Coast Band from the upstate of SC as well as doing solo performances. She has shared the stage with the BAND of OZ, The EMBERS featuring CRAID WOOLARD, SWINGIN MEDALLIONS, Jim Quick and COASTLINE, HOLIDAY BAND, FANTASTIC SHAKERS, TOO MUCH SYLVIA, GARY LOWDER and SMOKIN HOT, CLIFFORD CURRY, MAURICE WILLIAMS and the ZODIACS, BILLY SCOTT,  JACKIE GORE, WILLIAM BELL, just to name a few.
